Petrobras Opens 700 Positions in Free Courses with R$ 1,5 Thousand Aid and 21-Month Contract. Registrations Open Until October 12.
Petrobras has announced the opening of 700 positions in free courses in partnership with Senai (National Service for Industrial Learning), aimed at young people seeking their first job.
Registrations are open from October 6 to October 12, 2025, and selected participants will be entitled to a monthly aid of R$ 1,518, in addition to labor benefits and technical training recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).
Training with Employment Contract and Full Benefits
The project, called Petrobras Young Apprentice, combines study and professional practice over a 21-month contract with a signed work card.

During this period, students will have a four-hour daily schedule, from Monday to Friday, and access to a range of benefits that include transportation vouchers, vacation, 13th salary, FGTS, health programs, and the possibility of joining private pension plans.

Where the Free Petrobras Courses Take Place
Positions in the free courses from Petrobras are distributed across 23 Brazilian municipalities, covering all regions of the country.
In the Southeast, opportunities are available in São Paulo, Santos, Cubatão, Mauá, São José dos Campos, Rio de Janeiro, Duque de Caxias, Macaé, São Gonçalo, Betim, Juiz de Fora, Vitória, and Linhares.
In the Midwest, positions are in Brasília (DF) and Três Lagoas (MS); in the North, in Manaus (AM); in the Northeast, in Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife, Natal, and Aracaju; and in the South, in Curitiba (PR) and Canoas (RS).
Various Areas of Training at Senai
The Senai courses in partnership with Petrobras cover strategic areas of the Brazilian economy.
In the Professional Learning modality, the trainings include maintenance mechanic, logistics assistant, welder, building electrician, administrative assistant, and IT technical support.
The free technical courses offer specializations in industrial automation, electrotechnics, mechatronics, chemistry, petrochemistry, systems development, and renewable energy systems — sectors with high employability and growing demand.
Inclusion and Diversity in the Selection Process
The Petrobras Young Apprentice program adopts a quota system that reinforces social inclusion.
Of the total positions, 30% are reserved for black, indigenous, and quilombola people, 20% for people with disabilities (PwDs), 15% for former child laborers, and 10% for adolescents in institutional care or fulfilling socio-educational measures.
Youths between 14 and 21 years and 7 months can apply, while PwDs have no age limit to participate.
This policy ensures democratic access to opportunities and reinforces Petrobras’s commitment to diversity and social responsibility.
