The Meeting Will Take Place at FIEPA Headquarters with Representatives from the Oil and Natural Gas Sector, as Well as Suppliers and Businesspeople in the Industry. Petrobras Plans to Invest in Exploration in the Pará-Maranhão and Pará-Amapá Basins in 2023.

In order to make its presence in the North of the country even more relevant in 2023, Petrobras will meet with representatives from the market in Pará on February 1st. The meeting will be held at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Pará (FIEPA), with lectures and discussions about opportunities in the oil and natural gas sector this year. The company intends to invest in the exploration of fuel basins over the next few months.

Petrobras Visits FIEPA to Present New Growth Opportunities for the Oil and Natural Gas Sector in Pará in 2023

Expectations to begin the exploration of fuels in the Pará-Maranhão and Pará-Amapá basins in 2023 are growing at Petrobras.

The company aims to expand its operations in the oil and natural gas market in the Northern region of the country.

To that end, it will meet at FIEPA headquarters on February 1st to discuss market opportunities for the year 2023.

The meeting will take place in partnership with the Commercial Association of Pará (ACP), the Center of Industries of Pará (CIP), the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Pará (Faepa), and the Federation of Trade of Goods, Services, and Tourism in the State of Pará (Fecomércio).

In the morning, the company will hold lectures in the Albano Franco Auditorium, directed at businesspeople, ACP members, and suppliers from REDES/FIEPA.

This way, it will be able to present its main proposals and opportunities in the oil and natural gas sector of the state this year.

Additionally, Petrobras will present all the requirements and demands necessary for companies operating in the regional market to be suppliers of goods and services to the state-owned company.

State-Owned Company Will Hold Individual Meetings with Companies in the Oil and Natural Gas Sector Interested in Becoming Suppliers

In the afternoon, starting at 3 PM, still at FIEPA headquarters, in the Aperfeiçoar Multi-Purpose Space of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), Petrobras will conduct individual meetings.

During these meetings, guidance for the registration process on the Petronect platform will take place.

Petronect is a marketplace aimed at B2B solutions, focusing on the supply chain of the oil and natural gas sector.

Once companies properly register on Petrobras’s platform, they will receive a certificate from the state-owned company.

This way, they will already be eligible to act as suppliers in future business opportunities demanded by Petrobras in the State.

With this, Petrobras will be able to not only attract new companies to its projects but also boost the entire oil and natural gas market in Pará.

In addition to the meetings on the 1st, the company will remain in the state on the 2nd to discuss some topics at the Commercial Association of Pará.

The main topics will be climate change and innovation research in the fuel segment in the state.

Thus, Petrobras expands its relationship with the state of Pará in the oil and natural gas sector.
