The jacket, topside, and living quarter of the new Peregrino C platform are on their way to the Campos Basin in Brazil and will arrive in December. Here, it will be installed by the enormous heavy-lift vessel Sleipnir.

The Peregrino field, operated by Equinor, is located in the BM-C-7 and BM-C-47 licenses, approximately 85 km off the coast of Brazil, in the Campos Basin, in water depths of 100m.
It is the company’s largest international operation outside Norway. The field consists of two fixed head platforms and a floating production, storage, and offloading unit (FPSO).

Peregrino C is part of the Peregrino Phase II Project, which includes the addition of a third fixed structure platform.
The platform will help extend the life of the Peregrino field and will add value for 20 years. It will add 273 million in recoverable reserves, as well as generate many job opportunities.
