The Path of Organizations Toward the Improvement of FGTS in the Digital Age.
Digital transformations are relentless, and the digital FGTS is the new frontier. Organizations classified in Group 1 of eSocial are currently navigating the first wave of testing. This innovation brings tangible advantages, especially when we look at the security of sending business information to government agencies.
Evolving with the New System
Endorsed by Ordinance No. 3,211/2023 from the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the implementation of the digital FGTS aims to refine procedures, from collection to provision and oversight of information. It is expected to become the main tool for collecting monthly amounts and severance pay starting from its official launch, scheduled for the beginning of January next year.

An unexpected problem arises in São Paulo: thousands of artesian wells operate under toxic risk and put aquifers that help supply water to 22 million people on alert.

The world’s most advanced satellite has just been launched by China and can sniff out greenhouse gases from space using technology that did not exist before. Along with 149 other satellites, it forms a network capable of detecting any environmental crime on the planet without anyone being able to hide.
Synergistically joining eSocial and consequently replacing SEFIP, the transition to digital optimizes processes. This innovation facilitates the creation of customized guides, puts an end to payment duplication (with Pix as the mandatory payment method), and eliminates the requirement for release keys.
This digitization not only streamlines processes but also promotes faster analyses for employee access to FGTS, as well as more efficient audits by oversight agencies.
Points of Attention and Recommendations
It is important to note that SEFIP will continue to be the main tool for values until the end of this year. Subsequently, any adjustments or additional payments must be conducted through the original system, whether that is SEFIP or the new digital FGTS.
In this experimental phase, the incorporation of information will be progressive, according to the designated groups. Now is the time for adjustments and alignments, ensuring that everything is perfectly organized by next year. This guarantees a cohesive platform that unifies business information in the digital realm, fostering efficiency, speed, and a healthy business cash flow.
It is crucial for companies to align with reputable accounting consultancies, prepared to guide them in the new landscape and ready to meet new demands quickly and effectively.
The support of specialists is essential for organizations to adapt to the guidelines of digital FGTS, ensuring that software is aligned to meet deadlines, payment dates, and effective scheduling, always focusing on speed and reliability.
