Digital transformations do not stop and the digital FGTS It's the new frontier. Organizations in Group 1 of eSocial are currently navigating the first wave of tests. This new feature brings with it tangible advantages, especially when we look at the security of sending business information to government bodies.
Evolving with the New System
Endorsed by Ordinance No. 3.211/2023 of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the implementation of digital FGTS aims to refine procedures, from collection to provision and monitoring of information. It is expected to become the main tool for collecting monthly and termination amounts from its officialization, scheduled for the beginning of January of the coming year.
Synergistically joining eSocial, and consequently replacing SEFIP, the transition to digital optimizes processes. This innovation facilitates the creation of personalized guides, puts an end to double payments (with Pix as a mandatory form of payment) and eliminates the requirement for release keys.
This digitization not only speeds up processes, but also promotes faster analysis for accessing the FGTS by the employee, in addition to providing more efficient audits by control bodies.
Points of Attention and Recommendations
It is worth noting that SEFIP will continue to be the main tool for values until the end of this year. Subsequently, any adjustments or additional payments must be conducted by the original system, be it SEFIP or the new digital FGTS.
In this experimental phase, the incorporation of information will be progressive, according to the designated groups. Now is the time for adjustments and alignments, ensuring that, next year, everything is perfectly organized. This ensures a cohesive platform that unifies business information in the digital universe, promoting efficiency, speed and healthy business cash flow.
It is crucial that companies align themselves with prestigious accounting consultancies, prepared to guide in the new scenario and ready to meet new demands quickly and effectively.
