Senai, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, starts 280 vacancies in free courses to qualify professionals for industry 4.0

The intention of Senai and the Ministry of Economy is to prepare workers for the new industrial era, offering content aimed at industry 4.0 in the project, such as data collection and processing in high connectivity, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

The metalworking course will be one of the courses offered in the project and will address techniques and resources related to advanced manufacturing. The Information Technology course is also part of the content offered in the partnership and will present related subjects on programming and testing of artificial intelligence systems.

The National Service for Industrial Learning (SENAI) understands that the so-called Industry 4.0 is a great opportunity for Brazilian industry to be more productive, through digital technologies that will help companies learn and be more agile.

Candidates who are interested in applying to Senai's free courses must be between 14 and 24 years old. The selection process will consist of interviews, with the aim of evaluating the profiles of the candidates.

There will be 280 opportunities and Senai foresees partnerships with industries and companies. The aim is for free courses to be able to contribute to the training of students and to help them enter the job market.

According to Senai, six out of ten students are employed after the activities and, with these courses, it will also be possible to seek careers in higher education.
