A new public competition notice was released this Thursday (18) by the Flores de Goiás City Hall, in the state of Goiás. The selection process at the City Hall offers 558 vacancies, 161 of which are for immediate hiring and 397 for forming a reserve list (CR). The competition includes positions at the city hall for various levels of education, including elementary, middle, technical, and higher education.

How to Register for the City Hall Competition
It is important to mention that, to participate in the selection process at the City Hall, it is necessary to be of Brazilian or Portuguese nationality, to be at least 18 years old on the date of taking office, to have physical and mental aptitude for the performance of the position’s duties, to be up to date with electoral obligations, with military obligations, if male, to have the schooling and qualifications required for the position, among others.

Registrations for vacancies at the City Hall will be accepted from January 27 to February 19, 2025.
The application form will be available on the website of the Verbena/UFG Institute, the organizer of the selection process. The competition fees for the City Hall are:
- R$ 80 for positions requiring elementary education;
- R$ 120 for high school;
- R$ 140 for higher education.
It is important to highlight that there will be a fee exemption only for candidates who are registered in the Unified Register for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) or candidates who are bone marrow donors in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health, as per Federal Law.
Steps of the Selection Process
The public competition for vacancies at the Flores de Goiás City Hall will consist of the following stages:
- Objective test, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, for all positions;
- Essay, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, for teachers;
- Training course, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, for epidemic control agents and community health agents;
- Title verification, of a classificatory nature, for teachers.
The objective tests and essays will be administered on the scheduled date of March 16, 2025, at locations and times to be defined in the call notice, which will be published in due course.
The selection aims to evaluate the theoretical knowledge level of the candidate necessary for the performance of the position and will be worth 100 points. The questions of the objective test for the city hall competition will be multiple-choice with 4 alternatives, of which only one is correct.
