At the time of application, the taxpayer needs to provide some mandatory information, including: Property identification, Registration number in the Municipal Property Register, and Description of the installed sustainable technology.
The Municipal Secretary of the Environment may request additional documents if needed to prove the presence of clean technology, such as solar energy systems or other environmental solutions.
Another important requirement is that the property and its owner do not have any outstanding debts with the municipality of Cuiabá. If there are any debts, the IPTU discount cannot be granted.
Environmental Inspection Ensures Validity of the IPTU Discount
