Spots Distributed in Several Cities and with In-Person Support
According to the IFRN announcement, the 175 spots are divided among in-person support centers located in Canguaretama, Grossos, Lajes, Luís Gomes, Parelhas, and Natal.
Even though it is an EaD course, some in-person activities will be necessary, as required by Decree No. 9,057/2017, and will be scheduled in advance by the coordination.
The unique aspect here is that the course is conducted in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), which provides a solid structure for distance learning, ensuring that the education has quality recognized nationally.
Registration Timeline and Fee
If you are already eyeing this opportunity, don’t waste any time! Registrations begin on October 2 and go until October 30, 2024, and will be conducted exclusively on the Candidate Portal of IFRN.
The registration fee is R$ 80.00, and the payment of the ticket must be made by October 31. According to IFRN, registrations will not be accepted after this date.
Evaluation Criteria and Selection Process
The selection process for these spots will be based on resume analysis, prioritizing candidates with professional experience in areas such as teaching and public management.
Public network teachers, for example, can earn up to 30 points for each semester of work.
Public servants and professionals in basic education in private networks also accumulate points, with a maximum score of 100 points for analysis.
If there is a tie, the criterion of older age will be used to break the tie, according to the Statute of the Elderly. Teaching performance will also be considered if the first solution does not resolve the tie.
Results and Registration Procedures
The preliminary result will be announced on November 29, 2024, and approved candidates must complete the online pre-registration on the Candidate Portal.
Additionally, any remaining spots will be filled through additional calls until the start of the 2025 academic semester.
It is important to remember that candidates who self-declare as Black, Brown, Indigenous, or Quilombola will need to undergo the heteroidentification procedure, conducted by a specialized committee.
If there are inconsistencies in the declarations or lack of supporting documentation, the candidate may be eliminated from the process.
