The Agtech Brazil Radar Starts Registration for Startups, Investors, and Innovation Environments in October. The Free Initiative Strengthens the Agro-Food Ecosystem, Expands Connections, and Brings Exclusive Opportunities
The Agtech Brazil Radar opens the registration period from October 1 to 31, 2025, according to a report published.
Startups, investors, innovation hubs, and different representatives from the agro-food sector can participate in what is already considered the largest mapping initiative of the innovation ecosystem in the country.
The study was launched in 2019 and is now consolidated as a reference for understanding the transformations and trends driving the Brazilian agribusiness across different fronts.
-
Alone, the producer applies 7,400 hectares with the T100 drone in an optimized structure, replaces the generator with a silent battery, and demonstrates how technology reduces costs, increases productivity, and even challenges the uniport in the field.
-
China banned the export of 22 tons of meat from Argentina.
-
JBS, founded by the Batista brothers, continues to conquer the world: entrepreneurs built a ‘factory in the desert’ creating 3,000 jobs.
-
With only 1% of Brazil’s territory, Santa Catarina has built one of the most competitive industrial parks in the country, with 64,000 companies, nearly 1 million jobs, and a growth rate of 5.3% while the national industry is practically stagnant.
With each edition, the document provides updated information that helps participants connect, identify opportunities, and understand how the market is evolving.
The process is simple: just access the official website, fill out the forms, and confirm participation. It is important to highlight that even those who participated in previous editions need to complete the new registration.
Additionally, there are no costs involved, making access completely democratic for those who wish to be part of the study and the events that arise from it.
Participating means having more visibility, access to strategic data, exclusive events, and interactions that can lead to partnerships and new businesses.
It is an open door for all who wish to closely follow the growth of one of the most innovative sectors of the Brazilian economy.
Agtech and Foodtech Startups in the Spotlight in the Agtech Brazil Radar
Startups are the protagonists within the Agtech Brazil Radar. The survey gathers information about agtechs, which develop solutions for agriculture and livestock, and foodtechs, focused on food innovation.
In the last edition, released in March 2025, the study expanded its scope to include detailed information about innovation environments and investors.
The growth of these environments in agro has been significant. From 2023 to 2024, the number of incubators jumped from 32 to 107, an increase of 224%. Accelerators grew from 21 to 40, up 90%.
Hubs increased from 82 to 106, representing 29%, and technological parks evolved from 93 to 117, which corresponds to 25%.
These numbers illustrate how much the sector is expanding and professionalizing, creating conditions for startups to find support, acceleration, and funding.
The study also values diversity, highlighting female, black, and indigenous leadership. This approach reinforces the importance of a more inclusive ecosystem connected to different profiles of entrepreneurs.
For participants, being included in the mapping means visibility and integration into a qualified network of contacts.
Investors Find Strategic Opportunities in the Agtech Brazil Radar
Another essential audience for the Agtech Brazil Radar is investors. With each edition, the initiative increases visibility on the different types of funding available for startups and innovative companies in the agro-food sector.
This diversity is considered a key factor for the sustainability of the ecosystem. SP Ventures, for example, is one of the main partners of the study.
The Venture Capital manager is a reference in the agro and food segment and has invested in more than 50 high-growth innovative companies.
Currently, it manages over 600 million reais and has global investors such as BASF, Syngenta, Yara, Bunge, and IFC, in addition to receiving support from international funds like Capria, Ford Foundation, and BID Labs.
The relevance of the Radar to investors lies in offering a clear view of where growth opportunities are located.
The document is seen as a strategic tool, assisting everyone from capital managers to small investors in identifying impactful projects and promising companies.
Participating in the registration is, therefore, a way to get closer to new businesses and keep up with trends in the agro-food market.
Exclusive Events and Innovations from the Agtech Brazil Radar
Those who register for the Agtech Brazil Radar will have access to exclusive events and opportunities for interaction with key players in the agro innovation ecosystem.
In 2026, for example, the summit presenting the document will be held, scheduled for March at Cubo Itaú, in São Paulo.
Registered participants will have special conditions to attend the meeting, which promises to gather representatives from the agro sector, investors, startups, and innovation environments.
An important innovation in 2025 is the launch of the English version of the document, which will be published in the international newsletter of Embrapa News on October 23.
This initiative expands the global reach of the study and allows the Brazilian agro sector to be recognized abroad as well.
Another benefit for innovation environments is that fully completing the form guarantees mention as a supporter of the study, which increases institutional visibility.
Thus, universities, incubators, accelerators, and hubs can reinforce their presence in the ecosystem and attract strategic partnerships.
The document is produced by Embrapa, SP Ventures, and Homo Ludens, three organizations that directly promote innovation.
Embrapa, linked to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, has been a reference in agricultural research since 1973. SP Ventures, in addition to its expertise in Venture Capital, connects global investors to Brazilian agribusiness.
Homo Ludens contributes with strategic consulting in innovation and knowledge, working across different creative and technological sectors.
