About Espírito Santo Refinery RefinES
With an estimated investment of US$ 640 million (US$ 350 million in phase 1 and US$ 290 million in phase 2), RefinES will have the capacity to process 50,000 barrels per day, with the implementation of the project in two phases, the first with 30,000 barrels per day and the second with 20,000.
The plant will be able to process Brazilian offshore oil, with 29° API, to produce gasoline, diesel, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and MGO (marine gasoil), meeting the demand of the local market.
The expected start of operations for RefinES would be between 2025 and 2026, which would be after the approval of the last phase of studies, after which it should proceed to the implementation phases (hiring, construction, and assembly) and operation.
