According to Petrobras, Revap’s sales in June positioned the refinery as the second largest delivery hub. Compared to the same period in 2019, Petrobras’ sales were 5.9% higher, and Revap’s were 23.3% higher.
“Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a significant drop in demand for the main petroleum derivatives. On the other hand, domestic demand for LPG skyrocketed and exceeded the initial demands of distributors and market forecasts,” Petrobras informed in its statement.
