With 81 years of operation, the Rio Grandense Refinery, located in Rio Grande (RS), in the far south of Brazil, is the oldest refinery in operation in the country.
The refinery occupies an area of 40 hectares, and the raw material for the refinery, crude oil, is received through ships at the oil pier located near the company.

The Rio Grandense Refinery has a processing capacity of 17,000 barrels/day of oil, equivalent to about 2,700 m³/day, mainly distributed into gasoline, diesel oil, bunker fuel, asphalt, LPG, and solvents.

- Prerequisite: Completed Technical Training in Industrial Automation, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Electronics, Chemistry, Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, and Mechanics.
