Free and online Java programming course is provided by Alura

Alura has created a great opportunity for those who have basic programming knowledge and want to enrich their portfolio. An education startup focused on the IT area, it has 50 vacancies open for a free, online Java programming course. As disclosed by the Github platform, the Java programming language was the third most used in 2022.

Five free IT classes will be available between days March 27 and 31. According to data from consultancy Robert Half, the position of systems developer is going to be one of the promising careers for this year, with a salary range of up to R$ 21.000 for senior professionals.

How will the free IT course work?

There will be 5 days immersed in the development of the candidates' first project in Java, that can expand your portfolio and upgrade your career. In the first class, students will build an application from scratch, consuming an API. For hands-on learning and exploration of possibilities, IT challenges will also come into play.

Candidates who fill the free course slots will discover how to start their career in Java, build an application from scratch in the language, and learn how to improve the code to make it more flexible and easier to understand. In the last classes, they will use the NoSQL database, make their application accessible to anyone, and finalize a complete project to use in the portfolio.
