Controlled by Neoenergia, the board of Neonergia Renováveis approved in Paraíba, the construction of solar energy parks
Neonergia Renováveis approved today the construction of the Luzia II and II solar energy parks, located in Santa Luzia, in the State of Paraíba. Neonergia reported that 457 million was invested in the project, which will have a capacity of 149.3 MWdc and is expected to operate starting in the second half of 2022.

Neoenergia stated that the energy generated will be sold in the free market and will be 100% sold by 2026. 20% will be sold before the end of the project’s useful life and will focus on signing a 12-year contract with the telecommunications operator Claro.
The company said, “The construction and implementation of the project are fully aligned with the investment policy of the Neoenergia Group, as well as with its strategy for growth in renewable energy and to have a positioning in the liberalization of the Brazilian energy market.”
