The round, which had been temporarily suspended in April due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was resumed by the ANP after a decision by the National Energy Policy Council to hold the event in 2021.

The pre-announcement and the draft of the concession contract will go into public consultation for 60 days, until January 28th, and the public hearing will be held by videoconference on February 3rd.

92 oil blocks belonging to the Basias of Campos, Pelotas, Potiguar and Santos will be offered in the 17th Round rescheduled by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels.

The public session for the submission of bids for the 17th Bidding Round is scheduled for October 7 of next year.

The deadline for payment of the participation fee and registration for the round also begins today, which ends after the publication of the notice, on August 11th. With the submission of the electronic registration form, payment of the participation fee and compliance with other conditions provided for in the tender, bidders will be able to access the technical data packages selected by the ANP for the bidding process.

The ANP makes these documents available to public consultation until the 28/01/2021.
