However, what many may not have realized is that, in addition to the creature itself, another element stole the scene and helped build the dark and claustrophobic atmosphere of Jeepers Creepers: the iconic truck Chevrolet COE 1941.
This classic vehicle was not just a means of transportation for the relentless predator; it was an extension of terror. From its rusted and oxidized green color to the cattle collector mounted at the front, the truck seemed to have come straight out of a nightmare.

Behind the scenes, the vehicle also faced its own technical challenge. To create the iconic smoke we see in the film, the driver needed to manually release the accumulated smoke between takes, ensuring the truck effectively frightened both the characters and the viewers.
