Free courses in São Paulo will be offered through the Via Rapida program; Those interested can apply until May 6th.

The Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Via Rapida program, is offering many vacancies for free and fully online courses. The program also offers a scholarship of R$ 210 for students who take the qualification courses; assistance will be offered to students who meet all requirements and have attended the first 10 days of classes.

Prerequisites to register for free courses in São Paulo

In order to enroll in the free courses, interested candidates must be at least 16 years old, literate and domiciled in the State of São Paulo. If the number of applicants exceeds the expected, priority will be given to unemployed, low-income and disabled people.

Candidates selected for free courses in the state of São Paulo will be invited by email and classes are scheduled to start in May. To receive the certificate of completion, the student must have at least 75% attendance in class.

How to get help

Those enrolled in the program's free qualifying courses from March onwards will receive a one-off grant of R$210 to help with their expenses during the course. Aid will be offered to students who meet all requirements and have attended the first 10 days of classes.

Payment of the BRL 210 scholarship will be made using a bank code, which those enrolled in the free courses will use to withdraw funds at Banco do Brasil and Rede 24 Horas ATMs. The resource will also apply to courses of 60 to 160 hours at SP Tech and SP Criativo and will be available for 30 days after the official communication by e-mail that the value is available. By the end of this year, around 30 professional qualification vacancies will be offered with a scholarship.
