SENAI in Paraíba has opened registrations for free courses in the areas of footwear and accessories, industry 4.0, production and quality, and logistics. In total, 328 spots are being offered for SENAI’s free courses, for 10 improvement and qualification courses, in both EAD and in-person formats.

About SENAI in Paraíba

According to the company’s website, the National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI) is a private, non-profit entity linked to the union system. It was created to promote the professional training of workers and to cooperate in the development of technological research of interest to the industry and related activities.

SENAI has a normative unit regime and executive decentralization. To carry out its activities, normative bodies and national and regional administrative bodies are constituted under the organization and administration of the National Confederation of Industry – CNI and the Federation of Industries.

The creation of the Regional Department of SENAI in Paraíba happened in 1949, by Resolution No. 27, of November 10, under the management of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraíba. SENAI is recognized as a model of vocational education and for the quality of technological services that promote innovation in the Brazilian industry.

The company’s purpose is to contribute to the sustainability of the industry, acting as a transforming agent of society. In addition, SENAI aims to be a reference for the industry and society in the services offered, enhancing sustainability by 2024.

For the Professional Improvement modality, you need to prove experience or certification in a field related to the desired free course. Classes will begin on August 29, in the morning. To apply for the free course, you must be at least 16 years old.

In the Professional Improvement modality, the free courses offered in the EAD format are: Production Planning with 120 hours of duration; Inventory Management and Storage with 80 hours, in morning and afternoon shifts; Quality Tools also with 80 hours of duration.

Still in this modality, there are free courses in the in-person format, which are: Entrepreneurial Education, with 24 hours of duration, Soft Skills – Professional Competence for Industry 4.0 with 40 hours; and the course on Process of Planning and Development of Production, with a duration of 120 hours, with classes taking place in the afternoon. Another option for a free in-person course offered is Entrepreneurial Education, with a workload of 24 hours.

SENAI in Paraíba is also offering the free course Unraveling Lean Manufacturing, with a workload of 20 hours, in the EAD modality, in the morning shift. Classes will start on the 5th of next month. This free course is aimed at candidates aged 16 or older who have completed elementary school and who are workers in the industry.
