After signing an agreement to charter ships for Petrobras, Solstad Offshore now maintains a partnership with oil and gas multinationals Total and Equinor
Norwegian offshore supply vessel company Solstad secured several contract extensions with oil companies Total and Equinor for services in Brazil. Solstad Offshore owns a fleet of around 150 vessels and is present with offices in Norway, Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Scotland, Cyprus, Ukraine and Brazil.

Total has extended the contracts for the platform supply vessel Normand Swift and the AHTS vessel Far Sagaris until December 2020. The Tge vessels will be used to support Total's activities in the Lapa field offshore Brazil.
During the charter period, the Far Sagaris vessel will be replaced by the Far Scout, as the Far Sagaris will begin a three-year contract with Petrobras.
Additionally, Equinor has extended contracts for PSV's Sea Brasil by one year to December 2021 and Far Scotsman by 6 months to May 2022.
Both vessels will continue to support Equinor in its operation and development activities in Brazil, Solstad Offshore said.

BP has awarded contracts for two towing and anchor handling vessels Normand Saracen and Far Senator, along with the platform supply vessel Normand Leader with Solstad Offshore in Australia.
BP is a UK-based multinational company operating in the energy sector, primarily oil and gas across the world. In Brazil, it has been present since the 1970s and today has 27 blocks in five different offshore Brazilian geological basins, being one of the international companies with the largest deepwater exploration portfolio in the country.
Solstad Offshore signed a contract with Petrobras for two AHTS vessels for oil E&P operations in Brazil
Petrobras closed an agreement with the global company Solstad for the charter of two AHTS ships, Far Sagaris and Far Statesman. The announcement was made in June this year by the Norwegian multinational that provides maritime and offshore services.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years to provide maritime support for Petrobras' exploration and production activities in Brazilian offshore waters.
The start of the contract is expected to take place in September this year and the value of the contract, excluding the ROVs, exceeds an amount of MNOK 800 (Norwegian Krone).
