Last Monday, (07/01), the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) announced the opening of a new public exam with spots for the Air Force Sergeant Training Course, expected to start in the second semester of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for Brazilian youth who wish to pursue a military career and contribute to one of the most respected institutions in the country.
Who Can Participate and Compete for the Spots in the Sergeant Training Course?
Both male and female candidates who have completed high school and are between 17 and 25 years old by December 31, 2025, can participate in the selection process.
It is important to emphasize that 20% of the spots are reserved for candidates of African descent, as stipulated by law.

Course Structure and Specialties Offered in the New Air Force Public Exam
The Sergeant Training Course will be held at the Aeronautics Specialists School (EEAR), located in Guaratinguetá/SP, under military boarding conditions.
With a duration of two years, the approved candidates will have the opportunity to specialize in one of the various areas offered, such as Communications, Electricity and Instruments, Aircraft Mechanics, among others.
Upon reaching the rank of third sergeant, graduates will have an initial base salary of R$ 3,825.00, along with benefits such as food, accommodation, uniforms, medical-hospital, and dental assistance.
What Are the Stages of the Selection Process?
The selection process will consist of several eliminatory and classificatory stages, starting with the Written Exam, scheduled for December 1st.
This phase will cover fundamental subjects such as Portuguese, English, Mathematics, and Physics, with a total duration of 4 hours and 20 minutes.
The exam locations will include various cities across Brazil, ensuring access for candidates from different regions.
After the written exam, the candidates will undergo a Health Inspection, a Psychological Aptitude Exam, and a Physical Conditioning Assessment, in addition to Document Validation.
The preliminary results will be announced shortly after the exam, on December 2nd, through the official registration website.

Those who pass all stages must enroll and prepare to begin the course on July 2, 2025.
