In view of the trend towards sustainable fuels, the Embraer made public that it is advancing in the development of technology that will produce commercial aircraft with hybrid and electric propulsion, taking a giant step in the sector, according to the Jovem Pan website.
In a note sent to the press this Monday, the 5th, Embraer stated that it is tirelessly researching the construction of aircraft that can carry 19 to 30 passengers, and the expectation is that from 2030 the technology will already be ready to go to the market.

Embraer had already shown interest in producing the technology for electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft, with a smaller capacity for passengers, and also in designing a model supported by a fuel cell, which would be capable of zeroing the emissão of carbon dioxide.
As technology advances, Embraer is researching the technical and commercial viability of new technologies, and the company's bet on smaller aircraft is linked to the ability of these models to be more economical and to be ready quickly.
