The Super Hybrid Boat Cost R$ 17 Million and Was Developed by Bernico Powerboats, a Belgian Company Specialized in Creating Special Boats

The 52R Hybrid is a super hybrid boat with military-influenced design and a finish comparable to that of super racing cars. The vehicle even outperforms the fastest speedboats, reaching speeds over 180 kilometers per hour.

According to the developers, the boat has reportedly reached 192 kilometers per hour during speed tests, breaking the world record in its category, which was 187 kilometers per hour.

Powered by two Mercury Racing engines, producing a combined total of at least 3,100 horsepower, it’s easy to see where all this speed comes from.

The propulsion system of the super hybrid boat features three engines, one electric and two combustion. When operating in electric mode, it is possible to travel for up to two hours without producing noise or pollutants. However, the maximum speed is only 14.8 kilometers per hour, quite different from what can be achieved with the combustion engine.

Bernico Powerboats was one of the main contributors to the successful implementation of the idea. The Belgian company specializing in custom boats ensures that there is nothing else like it on the market, and that it is currently the super hybrid boat that holds the title of the fastest in the world.

Inside, there is also a concern for the well-being of the crew. The hybrid boat’s cabin is spacious and pleasant, equipped with a double bed, a bathroom with a sink, and two large dining tables in the cockpit.

The super hybrid boat comes with a pair of custom quick-release carbon fiber steering wheels, a flag mast also made of carbon, and a carbon-covered sunshade with hydraulic lifting.

According to the developers, the incredible vessel has been under construction for 4 years and features a black, white, and gray military-inspired exterior to cover the entire cabin.
