Alderman seeking to ensure the heating of Macaé's economy and avoid problems similar to Comperj, wants the 10 jobs that will be created to be for city residents

On the last April 12th (Friday), the councilor of Macaé, Robson Oliveira, said that he will file a request so that the contractors that will carry out their thermoelectric construction activities in the city, hire a percentage of 90% of labor of the municipality.

According to Robson, it is that the projects create about ten thousand jobs during the course of the works:  “Everyone knows that unemployment affects thousands of families in Macaé. We are going to charge for these vacancies to stay with our people”, highlighted Robson.

Remembering that in February 2019, a joint venture formed between Shell, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) and Pátria Investimentos was announced to invest in the construction of a thermoelectric plant, called Blue Marlin.
