Firjan Study Reveals Positions and Sectors That Pay the Highest Salaries for Beginners. Check It Out!
If you are keeping an eye on the highest-paying professions in the country, it’s time to learn about the careers that offer the highest average starting salaries in Brazil in 2024. The survey was conducted by the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan) and reveals a booming job market, with emphasis on the engineering field, according to the ICL News website.
Average Starting Salary Hits Record High
According to the research, the average starting salary in Brazil rose 2% in 2024, reaching R$ 2,178. This increase reinforces the recovery of the market after years of stagnation, maintaining the upward trend that began in 2023, when there was a growth of 1.2%.
“The job market continues to be strong, driving the increase in starting salaries. This study can assist companies in retaining and attracting talent“, explains Jonathas Goulart, manager of Economic Studies at Firjan.
