Jaecoo 7 with super hybrid SHS system exceeds 1,200 km of combined range with a 1.5 turbo engine, high-density battery, and intelligent energy management.
According to information from the site Autos Segredos, the Hiace will be launched in Brazil in the first half of 2025, bringing features that have attracted attention in countries where it is already circulating, such as Argentina.
The confirmed version for the country is the one intended for passenger transport, with capacity for 14 occupants and a warranty of up to 150,000 kilometers or five years, whichever comes first.

Power And Comfort With Diesel Engine
The new Hiace promises to deliver not only space and convenience but also performance to meet Brazilian needs.
Equipped with a 2.8 diesel engine, the model offers 165 horsepower at 3,600 revolutions per minute (rpm) and a maximum torque of 42.8 kgfm between 1,600 and 2,200 rpm.
This performance is managed by a six-speed automatic transmission, providing a smooth and safe driving experience, suitable for long trips with many passengers.
The Hiace’s top speed is limited to 100 km/h, meeting the goal of safe transport for city or highway travel.
The van has rear-wheel drive, which favors stability, especially in more challenging urban stretches.
Additionally, with a 70-liter fuel tank, the Hiace seeks a balance between autonomy and fuel economy.
Space And Capacity For 14 People
With impressive dimensions, the Hiace promises to be one of the most spacious models on the market.
It measures 5.91 meters in length, 1.95 meters in width, and 2.28 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 3.86 meters, offering ample internal space for passengers.
The seats are arranged in a 13+1 configuration, meaning it can accommodate 13 passengers and one driver, positioned to ensure comfort and mobility inside the vehicle.
Additionally, the model comes with 16-inch wheels equipped with tires sized 235/65 R16, providing stability and support for the total weight of passengers and cargo.

Standard Equipment Focused On Comfort
The Hiace arrives with a list of equipment designed to provide maximum comfort to passengers.
According to information from Autos Segredos, the configuration intended for Brazil will include air conditioning with manual controls and vents for the rear seats, rear-view cameras to facilitate maneuvers, and power windows in the front.
The seats, upholstered in fabric and synthetic material, feature height, depth, and tilt adjustments for the driver, in addition to longitudinal adjustment for passengers.
For greater convenience, rear passengers will also have reclining backrests, armrests in the central aisle, and six USB ports, providing constant connectivity for everyone.
The model also includes a multifunction steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch TFT screen, and a multimedia center equipped with a 9-inch screen and Bluetooth with hands-free capabilities, ideal for safe communication while traveling.
There are six speakers and a USB port, ensuring an integrated and personalized entertainment experience for passengers.
Technology And Safety As Priority
Toyota is also focusing on safety, one of the most highlighted points of the Hiace, especially since it is a model aimed at passenger transport.
The van offers front airbags for the driver and passenger, as well as a unique knee airbag for the driver, providing a level of protection above average.
The brakes feature an ABS and EBD system, which distributes braking force among the wheels, along with emergency brake lights (EBS) to prevent collisions during abrupt stops.
Additionally, the model comes with traction control (TRC) and stability (VSC), hill-start assist (HAC), as well as front and rear fog lights, optimizing visibility in adverse conditions.
In Argentina, where the Hiace is already manufactured and sold, white is the only available color. It is expected that the same will occur in Brazil, maintaining a standardized look that facilitates identification.

Launch And Expectations For The Brazilian Market
With a projected arrival in the first half of 2025, the Toyota Hiace is already generating curiosity and expectations among fleet operators and independent drivers who are looking for a modern and efficient alternative for passenger transport.
According to experts, the model is expected to capture a good market share, especially among those seeking a reliable and well-equipped solution for collective transport.
Although the selling price has not yet been disclosed, the promise of a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty could be an important differentiator for buyers.
With this novelty, the question remains: will the Toyota Hiace be able to replace the iconic Kombi in the hearts of Brazilians? We will have to wait for the launch to see how the market will react.
