According to information from the AUTOO website, the GR line already made an appearance at the Interlagos Festival in August, in São Paulo, where Toyota expressed enthusiasm about bringing more news to Brazil.
Among the expectations for the Brazilian market, the GR Yaris and a new batch of the GR Corolla stand out, possibly from the 2025 line, which has just been presented in the U.S.
High-Performance Equipment and Bold Design
The Toyota GR Corolla 2025 comes packed with features to satisfy sports car enthusiasts. Unique elements such as 18-inch wheels, sports suspension, and redesigned bumpers are part of the package.
Additionally, the model includes fender flares, functional air vents, and limited-slip differentials on the front and rear axles.
An extra touch of sportiness is found in the red brake calipers with the GR logo, which enhance the aggressive design. Customers can choose between three colors: red, black, or white, but that’s just the basics.
Interior with Touches of Luxury and Technology
While the GR Corolla impresses on the outside, the interior is equally striking. Those opting for the premium finish can enjoy comfort features such as dual-zone air conditioning, JBL sound system, and even wireless phone charging.
Other highlights include heated front seats and steering wheel, along with parking sensors in the bumpers.
And there’s more: the Premium Plus package adds matte black wheels and GR logos on the seats upholstered in Naub Suede, with red stitching that completes the sporty look.
The forged carbon fiber roof and the protruding hood are details that elevate the car’s sophistication to another level.
Performance and Power: The True Spirit of the Sports Car
But it’s not just the design that makes the GR Corolla 2025 a sought-after car. The performance of this hot hatch is breathtaking.
The torque has been boosted to 40.8 kgfm, while the power remains a robust 306 hp at 6,500 rpm.
Although Toyota has not revealed the new acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h, it’s worth noting that the previous model achieved this mark in an impressive 4.99 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h.
Among the mechanical innovations, the new eight-speed automatic transmission stands out, also present in the GR Yaris, offering more fluidity and control behind the wheel.
For high-performance enthusiasts, the GR Corolla 2025 also includes launch control in the automatic versions, further improving performance during rapid accelerations.
Additionally, the front bumper has been redesigned to optimize engine and brake cooling, allowing the car to handle the most intense sports usage conditions.

What to Expect from the GR Corolla in Brazil?
With all these innovations and the price revealed in the U.S., the big question remains: when will the GR Corolla 2025 arrive in Brazil and how much will it be sold for?
Historically, models like this see a considerable price increase when imported to the country, which could place the GR Corolla in an even more exclusive price range in the Brazilian market.
Moreover, the high dollar and import costs could mean that the sporty car arrives at a price exceeding R$ 300,000, depending on the configuration and applicable taxes.
According to industry sources, Toyota’s interest in expanding the GR line in Brazil is high, but there is still no official launch date for the model here.
