IFRR Opens Selection for Distance Learning Tutors: See How to Participate
The Announcement No. 2/2025, published by the Boa Vista Zona Oeste Campus of IFRR, establishes the selection of tutors to compose the teaching staff of the distance learning course in Technology in Public Management.
The selected candidates will work for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal for an equal period.
In addition, the hired professionals will receive a fixed monthly salary of R$ 1,100, paid directly by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel).

Who Can Participate?
To compete for one of the spots, it is necessary to meet some fundamental requirements.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Administration, Public Management, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Have 20 hours of weekly availability, including in-person and online activities.
- Reside in the municipality where you intend to work as a tutor.
- Have computer skills, especially for using the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).
What Will the Tutor’s Activities Be?
The tutor plays an essential role in the learning process of students, serving as a mediator between students and teachers.
Among their functions, the following stand out:
- Assist students in the teaching-learning process.
- Facilitate interaction between teachers and students.
- Monitor and evaluate the academic performance of students.
- Encourage the formation of study groups and discussions.
- Participate in training sessions promoted by IFRR.
- Prepare monthly reports on student performance.
How Will the Selection Be Conducted?
The selection process for IFRR tutors will consist of a single stage of curriculum analysis, which will be classificatory and eliminatory.
The evaluation will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic qualification (up to 50 points)
- Experience in distance education (up to 20 points)
- Experience in face-to-face teaching (up to 10 points)
- Training courses in the area of distance education and Information Technology (up to 20 points)
