Therefore, the public competition registrations for the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro are entering the final phase and end on January 25. Thus, the selection offers 243 immediate vacancies, in addition to a reserve list, for high school, technical, and higher education levels. Furthermore, the initial salaries range from R$ 3,029.90 to R$ 4,967.04, potentially exceeding R$ 10 thousand with benefits.
In this context, the benefits include a food allowance of R$ 1,175, pre-school assistance of R$ 484, transportation allowance, health assistance, and qualification incentives. Thus, the remuneration structure enhances the attractiveness of the competition. At the same time, the UFRJ maintains clear criteria for admission and progression.

Additionally, the registrations occur exclusively on the website of the Selecon Institute, the organizing body. Thus, the fee is R$ 90 for high school and technical levels and R$ 130 for higher education level. Therefore, the confirmation occurs after payment. Moreover, the regulation provides for the reservation of vacancies for people with disabilities, blacks, browns, quilombolas, and indigenous people.
Next, the selection process will consist of objective and essay tests for all positions. Moreover, there will be a practical exam for Laboratory Technician in the areas of Food, Clinical Analysis, Biology, Animal Facility, Geopaleontological Collections, Zoological Collections, and Chemistry. Additionally, the competition will be valid for two years, with the possibility of extension for the same period, at the discretion of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
