Importance of the Assistant Positions for EaD
The role of the teaching assistant is vital for distance education, as it helps in welcoming students, clarifying doubts, and coordinating activities between tutors and in-person coordinations.
This support contributes to reducing dropout rates and improving the quality of online courses.
For many teachers and graduates, this is an opportunity to integrate the university environment with practical engagement, even at distant centers, maintaining a link with public education and providing in-person pedagogical support.
How to Prepare to Compete for the Positions?
Interested candidates should check if they meet all the requirements: recognized degree, teaching experience, and residence close to the preferred center.
It is essential to prepare an updated resume and gather the required supporting documents specified in the announcement.
In the remote interview, in addition to experience, candidates’ aptitude for working with distance education and their ability to mediate student conflicts and questions will be evaluated.
With this announcement, the university expands its in-person support network for UAB courses, offering positions for teaching assistants in 61 centers.
The scholarship of R$ 1,550 reinforces the encouragement of distance education in Ceara. Education professionals interested have until October 10 to apply and compete.
