UFLA is offering 150 spots for each of the specialization courses.

This means that a total of 300 spots will be available for professionals seeking specialization in two essential areas for societal development: public management and school education.

Both formations take place in the EAD format, allowing professionals from various regions of Brazil to participate.

The Public Management course is ideal for public agents from different spheres (municipal, state, and federal) who seek to enhance their knowledge in public administration, public policies, and government management.

With the increasing demand for more efficient and transparent public management, this specialization provides participants with the necessary tools to make more assertive decisions and contribute to the development of the country.

The Educational Management course is aimed at directors of public schools, pedagogical coordinators, and educational technicians who wish to improve their competencies in school management and educational leadership.

Each of the two courses offers 150 spots, with the following distribution according to locality:

Public Management:

Bom Despacho (MG): 30 spots
Cambuí (MG): 30 spots
Formiga (MG): 30 spots
Itaguara (MG): 30 spots
Lavras (MG): 30 spots

Educational Management:

Andrelândia (MG): 25 spots
Cambuí (MG): 25 spots
Campos Gerais (MG): 25 spots
Congonhas (MG): 25 spots
Lavras (MG): 25 spots
São João del Rei (MG): 25 spots

With the offering of spots in different cities of Minas Gerais, UFLA’s courses aim to serve a diverse audience, providing access to quality education for professionals from various regions of the state.

Who Can Apply?

The courses in Public Management and Educational Management are directed at professionals working in their respective areas who hold a higher education diploma.

Below, check the prerequisites for each course:

Public Management: Eligible applicants include:

Public agents (federal, state, or municipal) currently in service.
Other professionals with a higher education diploma, who may compete for up to 50% of the available spots.

Educational Management: Applications are open for:

Directors of public schools.
Pedagogical coordinators currently in service.
Technicians from education departments working in the training of school managers.
Other professionals with a higher education diploma interested in the area of educational management.

Applications and Selection Process

The applications for UFLA’s specialization courses must be made exclusively online, via the SIGAA – UFLA system.

The application deadline is May 9, 2025, so it is important to secure your spot as soon as possible.

The selection process will be entirely conducted online, allowing candidates from all regions of Brazil to participate without the need for physical displacement.

The selection is based on the analysis of the professional profile and academic history of candidates.
