The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO) announced the opening of a new public competition to fill a Substitute Professor position in the field of Agronomy. The announcement 19/2024 aims to hire a professional to meet a temporary demand of exceptional interest at the Advanced Campus of São Miguel do Guaporé.

This selection process is intended to fill a vacancy for a fixed term, aiming to address the institution’s temporary demand.

Those interested in participating in the Federal Institute’s selection process must complete their applications exclusively online, accessing the link available in the online form.

The application must be finalized by 11:59 PM on August 20.

Federal Institute Exam and Selection

The selection of candidates will be conducted in two main stages. The first is a teaching performance exam, scheduled for August 29, 2024.

This exam will assess the candidates’ ability to convey knowledge effectively.

The second stage is the analysis of credentials, where an evaluation of the candidates’ resumes will be made according to the criteria established in the announcement.

To compete for the position and work at the Federal Institute, the candidate must have a degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or Agricultural Studies.

The position requires a weekly workload of 40 hours, and the monthly remuneration may vary from R$ 3,412.63 to R$ 6,356.02, depending on the education and experience of the selected professional.

In addition to the salary, IFRO offers additional benefits, including transportation assistance, preschool assistance, and food assistance, totaling R$ 1,000.00 for a 40-hour workweek.

These benefits are intended to support the professor in their daily and family expenses.

The hired professor will be responsible for developing teaching, research, and extension activities in their areas of academic training.

They will be required to operate at all levels and modalities of education within the Federal Institute of Rondônia, in addition to participating in advisory, assistance, and commission activities, according to current legislation.
