These Innovations Promise to Strengthen Volkswagen’s Presence in the Automotive Market, Offering Consumers a Variety of Vehicles That Meet Different Needs and Preferences.

Volkswagen, one of the global leaders in the automotive sector, may renew its lineup for the year 2024, focusing on renewing four of its most popular models. The predictions are that the 2024 Taos will come with a facelift and new powertrains, promising better performance and efficiency. The 2024 Saveiro, retaining its essence as a compact pickup, brings a more modern platform and turbo powertrain options. The 2024 Tiguan, now in its third generation, offers advanced technologies and a more sophisticated design. Finally, the 2024 T-Cross features a significant facelift, focusing on modern design and powertrain updates. These launches reflect Volkswagen’s commitment to continue innovating and competing in the dynamic automotive market.

New Volkswagen Saveiro 2024

Inspired by the Concept car Tarok, presented in 2018, the new Saveiro will have a modern look and will be based on the MQB platform, the same used in models like Polo, Virtus, Nivus, and T-Cross. With approximate dimensions of 4.70 meters in length, the 2024 Saveiro positions itself between the size of the Fiat Toro and the current Saveiro, offering the ideal balance between size and functionality.

Volkswagen bets on efficient TSI engines for the new Saveiro. The options include the 1.0 turbo flex engine with 128 horsepower and 20.4 kgfm of torque, and the 1.4 turbo flex engine with 150 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm of torque. These choices place the 2024 Saveiro in a competitive position, both in terms of power and energy efficiency.

The interior of the 2024 Saveiro will follow the standard of the entry-level Polo line, with an 8-inch digital dashboard, touch climate control, proximity key, and synthetic leather seats. The 10-inch VW Play multimedia center will be another highlight, offering connectivity and entertainment. The interior space is designed to comfortably accommodate four adults and one child.

The big news in the Taos 2024 powertrain is the replacement of the 1.4 Turbo gasoline engine with the new 1.5 Turbo, also gasoline, offering 160 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm of torque. And of course, in the higher-end versions, the Taos comes with a 2.0 turbo engine capable of delivering 200 horsepower and 30.2 kgfm of torque. Both versions use a six-speed dual-clutch automated transmission.

The interior of the 2024 Taos has been completely renovated, with a focus on leather trim on the dashboard and doors, and soft-touch surfaces. The vehicle maintains a comfortable interior space for five adults, along with an updated list of equipment that includes touch climate control, an 8-inch digital dashboard, and a 10-inch floating multimedia center.
