Volta Redonda Municipality Had the Highest Job Creation in 2019, Followed by Campos dos Goytacazes According to the Ministry of Economy
Even at a slow pace, job recovery has been concentrated in the most industrially developed cities, such was the case of Volta Redonda, in the south of the state, which generated a positive balance of 3,396 jobs in 2019.

The data comes from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (CAGED) and was released yesterday (09/25) by the Ministry of Economy.
In the last 12 months, from August 2018 to August 2019, the city of Volta Redonda also generated the most jobs (4,495), averaging 12 jobs per day.

The Measures Taken
The Mayor of Volta Redonda also highlighted which measures were taken that contribute to job creation in the city, such as: Shopping Street, job fair, zero commercial fee, resumption of dialogue with CSN, improvement of the business environment, call center company, inauguration of the new shopping mall, and regularization of street vendors.
