The mansion built by Anita Harley in Aclimação, a neighborhood in central São Paulo, has returned to the news as one of the most valuable assets associated with the heir of Pernambucanas in the documentary “The Testament: The Secret of Anita Harley”, released by Globoplay on February 23, 2026.

The production reconstructs the dispute surrounding the businesswoman, in a coma since November 2016, and exposes how the property became a key player in the legal battle over assets, guardianship, and inheritance.

Mansion in Aclimação has 96 rooms and millionaire structure

Valued at around R$ 50 million, the residence boasts numbers that help to gauge its size.

There are 96 rooms, 37 bathrooms, and five kitchens, in addition to an outdoor area marked by gardens, a pool, and two terraces, according to descriptions circulated from the documentary and reports about the case.

The property is located on a discreet street in Aclimação, away from the busier part of the neighborhood, and appears in aerial images of the series surrounded by lush greenery.

The size of the house helps explain why it has become one of the most visible symbols of Anita Harley’s wealth.

In the narrative of the series, the mansion is not only presented as a high-standard address but as a space associated with the private routine of the businesswoman and the people who lived with her for years.

The residence, therefore, ceased to be merely a high-value asset and began to concentrate opposing versions about affection, cohabitation, and ownership.

Move from hotel to residence inspired by château

Before moving to Aclimação, Anita Harley lived for decades in the traditional Hotel Ca’d’Oro, on Rua Augusta, in São Paulo.

Reports and testimonies gathered in the series indicate that she occupied a spacious structure within the hotel and maintained this lifestyle until the reformation of the establishment, which began after the closure of the old building in 2009.

The move to the mansion occurred in this context when the businesswoman left the hotel and began residing in the house that today appears among the most discussed assets of the case.

In the documentary, Sônia Soares, known as Suzuki, says that the search for a new place began after unsuccessful attempts to find hotels with similar characteristics.

“I looked for several hotels. There was nothing like it,” she states.

She then recounts that the solution was to design a residence for the two of them.

“So [we said]: ‘Shall we build a place for us? Let’s.’ And then, I chose a château,” she says, explaining the inspiration for the property.

These statements help support the version that the mansion was born from a common cohabitation project.

Judicial dispute involves donation and guardianship of assets

The relevance of the mansion increased because the house began to be treated as an important piece of the legal battle that has dragged on since Anita Harley suffered a stroke and lost the ability to manage her own life and assets.

The documentary presented by Globoplay shows that, from this episode, irreconcilable versions began to compete for space in the courts and outside them, involving who could represent her, who would have emotional ties recognized by the Justice, and who would have rights over the assets attributed to the businesswoman.

In this scenario, the Aclimação house gained special weight because Suzuki lives in the property and claims that the property was dona ted by Anita.

According to her defense, the transfer was formalized in a notary in 2009.

The claim, however, is contested by other characters heard in the series and in reports about the case, which keeps the property at the center of the controversy.

It is not just about discussing the value of the mansion, but about defining whether the transfer is valid and what effects it produces within the set of assets attributed to the heir of Pernambucanas.

The broader dispute also involves guardianship and the recognition of emotional ties.

The promotional material for the series and reports about its premiere indicate that the conflict intensified after the annulment of the so-called living will, in an action filed by Suzuki.

The case also began to include Artur Miceli, Suzuki’s biological son, who obtained judicial recognition of socio-affective motherhood with Anita Harley, a condition that places him as a direct heir and guardian, according to the narrative presented by the production.

Billionaire wealth and conflicting versions

In addressing the mansion, the documentary seeks to show that the property functions as a synthesis of a larger conflict.

On one side, the house is presented as the space where Anita would have organized a private life after leaving the hotel where she lived for decades.

On the other hand, the same address appears as evidence contested by characters who claim proximity, legitimacy, and rights over the assets.

The residence thus transforms into a kind of physical stage of the battle that the series defines as marked by love, power, and inheritance.

The impact of the documentary has increased the visibility of this property precisely because Anita Harley’s story remained for years away from the general public.

The businesswoman is pointed out in Globoplay’s productions as the largest individual shareholder of Casas Pernambucanas, and her health condition, combined with the dispute for control of asset and personal decisions, has begun to attract national interest.

In this context, the Aclimação mansion ceased to be merely a high-standard residence to become one of the most emblematic assets of a legal battle that spans nearly a decade.

By gathering a large garden, pool, terraces, and dozens of rooms, the property helps to gauge the size of the wealth at stake, but the controversy surrounding the house goes beyond architecture and estimated price.

What is ultimately discussed is the validity of the acts attributed to Anita before the stroke, the legal strength of the documents produced over the years, and the weight of personal relationships in a conflict that continues to reverberate in the courts and public debate.
