The information was disclosed by Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, during an event held in Washington. Sullivan emphasized that during his stay in Brazil, Biden also intends to expand the Partnership for Workers’ Rights, an initiative launched with Lula last year at the UN General Assembly.
The partnership aims to combat forced labor, promote decent working conditions, and eliminate discrimination in the workplace. According to Sullivan, the two leaders are discussing the possibility of including other countries in this alliance.
