The New Electric Motorcycle from Watts, Specialist in Electric Mobility of the Multi Group, Hits the Market with a Design Very Similar to the Famous Honda XRE 190. The New Motorcycle Incorporates Several Advanced Technologies and Has the Potential to Bring Changes to the Electric Motorcycle Sector.

The new W-Trail electric motorcycle is about to revolutionize the Brazilian market. Launched a few months ago by Watts, the Multi group brand, this motorcycle has attracted attention not only for its technical specifications but also for a design reminiscent of the famous XRE 190. With advanced technology, the W-Trail promises to transform the electric motorcycle segment in Brazil.

Differentials of the New Electric Motorcycle Similar to the XRE 190

The new electric motorcycle from Watts features larger wheels, greater suspension travel, and, of course, a new adventurous look. In fact, the new model looks very much like a Honda XRE 190. It appears that the launch originated from the Chinese brand Velimotor, more precisely from the VMX10S model.

Its central electric motor provides a maximum power of 12,000W, has a torque of 380 N.m, and is capable of reaching up to 100 km/h – equivalent to a combustion motorcycle of 200cc. The 72V lithium battery offers one of the largest ranges on the market: up to 100 km. Another novelty is the ability to recharge it at electric vehicle charging stations, where it is possible to reach 100% in up to 3 hours – the portable battery still allows charging to be completed at any conventional outlet.

The Watts W-Trail electric motorcycle has undeniable aesthetic similarities with the Honda motorcycle. Among them are the shield-shaped headlight, the small fairing around, as well as the sharp beak that extends about 20 centimeters over the front wheel.

Even the air intakes of the fairing of the new electric motorcycle and the shape of the upper tank area seem to have been designed by the same person, as well as the rear lights and passenger handles. However, not everything is expected to be the same.

“The W-Trail is the realization that it is possible to expand the variety of electric motorcycle categories and that they can meet the diverse profiles of motorcyclists, especially balancing power and range. The launch of our trail is a landmark that reinforces Watts’ commitment to continue innovating and promoting the best solutions in urban mobility, combining economy, sustainability, comfort, and safety,” celebrates Rodrigo Gomes, founder and commercial director of Watts.

News: Watts’ Electric Motorcycle Hits 100 km/h

The inverted front suspension and the two-level seat of the new XRE 190 electric motorcycle are quite different from the simple setup of the 190cc sold in the Brazilian market, and the biggest difference is in the motor, of course. The Chinese model features an electric unit, with a power of 12 kW, about 16.1 horsepower.

With it, the manufacturer promises a maximum speed of 100 km/h. This set also features an energy regeneration system and reverse gear, like all electric motorcycles, to aid in tighter maneuvers.

To power the model, the VMX10S comes with a 72V battery with a range of up to 100 km on a single charge. The model has also not been completely burdened by the weight of an electric setup, weighing in at a total of 128 kg. Interestingly, the new electric motorcycle weighs just 1 kg more than the XRE 190.
