If you want to start 2025 with a new profession or acquire new skills, the Technical School Support Foundation (Faetec) has a great opportunity. There are 11,551 vacancies available for free professional qualification courses in the first semester of 2025.

The free qualification courses are offered exclusively in person, with vacancies distributed across various regions of the state of Rio de Janeiro, including the metropolitan area, Costa Verde, and North Fluminense, as well as the Coastal and Fluminense Lowlands.

How to Participate in the Selection Process

The selection process for the free qualification courses will be conducted through an electronic lottery. Each candidate can choose up to four courses in a single application. The complete announcement, containing details about the available courses, teaching locations, and criteria for the selection process, is available on the institution’s website.

Free Courses and Qualification Areas

The training includes various areas of expertise, such as information technology, beauty, maintenance services, and performing arts. Among the courses offered are:

Computer Operator
Administrative Assistant
English
Theatrical Initiation
Clinical Immunohematology
Automation and Robotics

The classes last for 20 weeks and will start in February 2025. The lottery result will be announced on January 28.

Who Can Apply?

To participate, candidates must be at least 14 years old and meet the specific educational prerequisites for each course.

To compete, those interested in the free qualification courses must register by January 26 on the official website of Faetec. After registration, it will not be possible to change or add new courses, so it is important to choose carefully.
