“The province of Alberta has some of the best wind, solar, bioenergy, and geothermal resources in Canada. The digital transformation there is rapidly becoming the largest driver of new solutions and investments in technology from energy companies. Investments in digital transformation in the Energy and Environment sector in Alberta are projected to be CAD 5.8 billion by 2024, representing a quarter of the investment in digital transformation in public utilities, renewables, oil and gas, and clean technology in Canada. Thus, it is worth understanding more about the market and the future of the sector in order to achieve development,” said Reis.
The Celebration of the Commercial Relationship Between Brazil and Canada
In addition to strengthening the commercial relationship between Brazil and Canada, the festival celebrates ‘Canada Day,’ which takes place on July 1st. This date marks the anniversary of the formal union of three colonial provinces in 1867 between Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. This was the milestone of the country’s independence, as it gained more internal political control.
Historical Facts of the Energy Commercial Relationship Between Brazil and Canada
This potential for electric energy in Canada is not recent. In 1906, the ‘Hydro-Electric Power Commission’ was established, which, years later, obtained authorization to generate and sell energy in the country. Subsequently, the commercial energy relationship between Canada and Brazil began.
