It is estimated that, in total, this investment will immediately generate around 1.500 jobs in the country. These distribution centers add up to a total of around 75 square meters.

The mayor of Betim, Vittorio Medioli says that “Amazon arrives at an extremely positive moment for Betim and for Minas Gerais. With the opening of three more centers, Amazon now has eight distribution agencies to optimize customer service in all cities in Brazil. The multinational says that “As a direct effect of this expansion, more than 500 municipalities have even faster deliveries for members (of the subscription service) Prime, from two days for eligible products, with free shipping and other benefits for those who are part of the program. Brazil is the country with the fastest growth in Amazon Prime subscriptions as of launch.”
