The Ministry of Education offers 255 free courses with a MEC certificate. They are short courses and fully online. The opportunities are available on the Aprenda Mais platform. The qualification provided is free, high-quality, and accessible.

The courses were created to provide free qualification. They serve both students and professionals. Professionals can use the courses to update their skills in their field. There are options in information technology and education. They also include management, environment, and languages. Other areas include tourism, health, security, and communication. Cultural production is also among the available areas.

How Do Free Courses with MEC Certificates Work?

The training programs were created by institutions of the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education (EPT). The courses are self-instructive, meaning that students study at their own pace. They can be accessed at any time. There are no prerequisites required. There is also no selection process.

To participate, simply register on the Aprenda Mais website (https://aprendamais.mec.gov.br/). The student can start studying whenever they wish. The free courses with a MEC certificate guarantee the document after completion. The certificate issuance is also free of charge.

Various Areas of Knowledge Available

In April, new courses were added to the platform. The areas covered include Information and Communication. Courses in Educational and Social Development, as well as Management and Business, were also included. Other areas with new offerings are Food Production and Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure. Natural Resources, Environment and Health, and Security have also received new courses. Finally, Infrastructure, Languages, Language and Literature, and Exact Sciences complete the updated areas.
