It is in the final stages of negotiation with the state-owned company to use its infrastructure and process the surplus gas not intended for the company, enabling the commercialization of the product.

Giant reservoirs with a capacity of 18 million cubic meters have turned Fujairah into one of the largest energy vaults on the planet. This facility, located outside the Strait of Hormuz, stores oil on a colossal scale and has become a silent piece that supports the global flow of fuels.
However, 3R is in the final stages of negotiation with the state-owned company to utilize its infrastructure and process the surplus gas, allowing the company to commercialize directly with other customers.
This would be a decisive move to expand the company’s presence throughout the national fuel market.
The director of exploration and production at 3R, Maurício Diniz, stated that he expects to conclude negotiations with Petrobras in the second quarter of the year.
The current contract stipulates a minimum daily withdrawal of 500,000 m³/day, but production at the Peroá Pole can reach 650,000 m³/day, depending on demand.
In addition to Petrobras, 3R Petroleum currently has only one customer, Bahiagás, with which it has a commitment to deliver natural gas in 2023 and 2024. The company is looking to expand its customer base and explore new markets.
In the future, 3R also plans to connect the Malombe discovery to the Peroá Pole, which could further increase its natural gas production, reaching up to 2.5 million m³/day.
Diversifying the customer base and expanding operations are important strategies for 3R Petroleum, allowing the company to grow and establish itself in the oil and natural gas market in Brazil.
