The Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE), in partnership with Petrobras, is offering 94 remaining spots in free professional qualification courses with a monthly scholarship of up to R$ 858. The initiative is part of the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program, aimed at low-income individuals and those in social vulnerability who wish to prepare for the job market with free federal certification and guaranteed financial support during their studies.
The courses are fully in-person, held at the Caruaru Campus of IFPE, and focus on high-demand areas in the industrial sector, such as electrical, instrumentation, piping, and scaffolding assembly. - Morning: 13 positions
- Afternoon: 17 positions

The classes are organized by shifts to facilitate access and the retention of students, especially those who balance their studies with other activities.
Monthly Scholarship of R$ 858 for Students
One of the main attractions of the program is the monthly scholarship, which aims to ensure that students can support themselves during their training. The amounts vary according to the candidate’s profile:
- R$ 660 monthly for general students;
- R$ 858 monthly for female heads of household with children aged up to 12 years.
To receive the amount, it is necessary to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75% in classes.

Who Can Enroll in the Free Courses of IFPE With Support From Petrobras?

- Be 18 years or older;
- Have completed elementary education I (1st to 5th grade);
- Live in one of the following municipalities within Petrobras’ reach in Pernambuco:
- Caruaru
- Ipojuca
- Cabo de Santo Agostinho
- Be in a state of low income, with a family income per capita of up to half a minimum wage;
- Not have a formal employment relationship.
How and When to Enroll in the Free Courses of IFPE
Enrollment is free and must be done exclusively online through the official website of the Ênnio Foundation (FAIFSUL):

- Enrollment Period: from July 25 to August 15, 2025, until 11:59 PM.
- For those who have difficulties, IFPE Campus Caruaru will provide in-person support points to assist with enrollment.
Selection Will Be Through Public Electronic Drawing, With Live Transmission
The selection of candidates will be made through an electronic drawing, ensuring transparency and equal chances for all applicants.
- The drawing will be conducted as a single event for all courses and broadcast live on the official FAIFSUL YouTube channel.
- The list of selected candidates and the call for enrollment will be announced on August 21, 2025.
