Social Security Lawyer Tais Santos Explains How Four Documents Can Accelerate Early Retirement and Improve Monthly Income Calculation.

The search for early retirement is one of the biggest desires of Brazilian workers, but few know that there are legal mechanisms that can advance this right by up to eight years. According to social security lawyer Tais Santos, four little-known documents can completely change the calculation of the contribution time and even increase the benefit amount.

These documents, when correctly presented to the INSS, allow special work or life situations to be recognized, ensuring that the insured retires earlier and with a fairer income.

The specialist emphasizes that knowledge is power and that many Brazilians fail to take advantage of their rights simply because they are unaware of the legislation.

What Are the Documents That Guarantee Early Retirement?

According to Tais Santos, there are four main documents that can pave the way for early retirement: the Social Security Professional Profile (PPP), the work card with links prior to 1995, the military service certificate, and the medical report proving disability.

Each of these serves as proof of situations that grant the right to differentiated counting of contribution time.

These records can represent up to eight years of anticipation in retirement.

Moreover, depending on the rule applied, the insured may achieve a higher benefit than they would with just a simple count of service time.

PPP: Social Security Professional Profile

The first essential document for early retirement is the Social Security Professional Profile (PPP). This form is filled out by the company and records whether the worker has been exposed to harmful agents, such as excessive noise, heat, cold, electricity above 250 volts, or chemical products.

Often, according to a warning from Tais Santos, companies omit important information in the PPP, which directly harms the insured.

In such cases, it is necessary to consult a lawyer specialized in social security law to ensure that the correct data is recognized in court.

If the worker can prove exposure to unhealthy conditions, they will be entitled to special time counting, which advances retirement and increases the benefit amount.

Work Card and Links Prior to 1995

The second document is the work card. Professions existed until April 28, 1995 automatically qualify as special activities.

This means that, just by exercising the profession, it was already possible to advance retirement.

According to Tais Santos, categories such as electricians, nurses, doctors, dentists, construction laborers, and ceramic industry workers are among those who had this right.

If the work card proves links in one of these areas, the insured may gain access to early retirement without needing to present the PPP.

Military Service Certificate

The third document is the military service certificate. Men who served in the Army, the Navy, or the Air Force can use the service period as contribution time, increasing the total count and ensuring advancement in retirement.

Even if the original document has been lost, it is possible to request a duplicate from the Armed Forces. According to Tais Santos, this is a right often unknown, but recognized by the INSS and significantly impacts the final retirement calculation.

Medical Report Proving Disability

The fourth document is the medical report proving disability. People who have worked during their lives with this condition may be entitled to early retirement due to age or reduced contribution time.

Each year worked as a person with a disability generates a positive effect on the calculation, allowing not only to retire earlier, but also with better financial conditions.

If the insured has also worked in unhealthy activities, the benefits can be cumulative, further accelerating the right.

Is It Worth Seeking These Documents?

According to Tais Santos, the answer is yes. Each of these documents can represent years of anticipation and higher amounts in the final benefit.

Many insured people are unaware that they are entitled to these records and thus end up accepting retirements with lower values than they could receive.

The lawyer emphasizes that, in case of any doubts, it is essential to seek professional guidance. This is because the INSS may deny administrative recognition, but the courts have guaranteed workers’ rights when the documents are properly presented.

The possibility of obtaining early retirement by up to eight years depends on knowledge and correct utilization of four key documents: the PPP, the work card with links until 1995, the military service certificate, and the medical report of disability.

These records can transform the worker’s life, allowing not only to stop working earlier but also to ensure a greater income upon retirement.

And you, did you already know the importance of these documents? Do you believe that most Brazilians have easy access to this proof, or does the system still hinder the recognition of rights?
