Nicolas Borine, from Atibaia (SP), Wrote and Illustrated “Alossauro” at 4 Years and Five Months and Now Awaits Official Evaluation from the Guinness World Record

At 4 years and five months old, Nicolas Borine has already built a trajectory that surprises even early childhood education specialists. A resident of Atibaia (SP), the boy is launching the book “Alossauro” this Sunday (1st) and may become the world’s youngest author in 2025, if Guinness World Record validates his submission.

The family officially registered Nicolas with Guinness, sending documents that confirm both his age and his authorship of the 62 pages of the work. The information was disclosed by regional media outlets from Vale do Paraíba and the Bragantina region, which followed the entire process of creating the book and the attempt for the world record.

While awaiting the technical analysis from Guinness World Record, Nicolas lives in anticipation with enthusiasm. However, regardless of the outcome, he has already achieved something rare: publishing a complete book before turning 5 years old.

How a Sunday Afternoon Became the Start of a Literary Journey

It all started simply. During a Sunday afternoon on the couch with his grandmother, Mônica Borine, Nicolas revealed that he wanted to write a book. From that moment on, the idea ceased to be just a game and gained direction.

According to Mônica, she explained to her grandson what steps he would need to follow. Then, Nicolas began researching to gather information about the Alossauro, the dinosaur that lived 76 million years ago and became the central theme of the work.

Additionally, grandmother and grandson visited museums and parks, as well as talked to professionals to deepen the content. Thus, the project gained scientific consistency and organized structure.

Throughout the process, Nicolas selected the information he considered important and, at the same time, received support from his grandmother to organize the words. Still, he wrote the story himself and created the illustrations.

“My heart is happy. My little book has drawings that I like and tells about a dinosaur, the alossauro,” Nicolas said. Moreover, he highlights that the Alossauro is as large as the T. Rex, besides being a hunter and carnivore.

Consequently, the final result was a 62-page book that combines information, creativity, and illustrations made by the author himself.

Launch, Price, and Distribution of the Book’s Proceeds

The launch takes place this Sunday (1st) at grandmother Mônica’s house. For the occasion, the family produced 30 copies for friends and relatives.

Each copy costs R$ 35. Of this total, R$ 31 cover production costs, and R$ 4 go to Nicolas. Orders can be placed via WhatsApp at (11) 94157-3065 or by email at orionis10@bol.com.br.

While organizing the launch, Nicolas is already planning the next project. According to him, the new book will also address dinosaurs, but will focus on the “Baby Alossauro.”

“I will tell stories about the little alossauro. It will be all colorful and really cool. He will have adventures,” explained the young author.

Evaluation Process and Possible World Record in 2025

To compete for the title of the world’s youngest author in 2025, the family sent proof to Guinness World Record that Nicolas wrote and illustrated the book. Additionally, they attached documents that confirm his 4 years and five months of age.

Now, the family awaits the organization’s verdict. According to the information received, the result is expected to be released between late 2025 and early 2026.

“We decided to take a risk and seek world recognition. We have already sent the documents, now we need to wait,” said Mônica.

In the meantime, Nicolas maintains his enthusiasm. He wants to share the news with friends, sign the books with a little heart, and celebrate his own effort.

Therefore, more than an attempt at a record, Nicolas Borine’s story represents a clear example of how family support, curiosity, and dedication can flourish even in early childhood.

And you, do you believe that 4-year-olds should have even more encouragement to explore writing, creativity, and science from an early age?
