The Competition Opened by the Army for Intermediate and Higher Education Levels is for Positions in Construction Engineering Projects and Public Infrastructure Works, Among Others. Salaries Reach R$10,000
The Brazilian Army is opening a new selection process for a competition with positions available for intermediate, technical, and higher education levels. Those approved will work in the Department of Engineering and Construction (DEC). 33 job openings in industrial works opened yesterday (07/16) by an engineering company in the roles of Technician, Engineer, Coordinator, and more.

According to the notice, there are 19 authorized vacancies for immediate temporary filling, in addition to a reserve list. However, the Department of Engineering and Construction has authorization for 412 vacancies. Therefore, the reserve list in the selection can reach 393 positions.
Those approved will work on construction engineering projects, public infrastructure works, implementation of strategic projects, land cartographic mapping activities, and logistics actions for the Army.

Salary and Benefits
The offered salaries range from R$ 3,419.97 to R$ 10,887.56. According to the notice, those approved in the selection must be available to work in any region of the country.
In addition to monthly earnings, professionals approved in the Army competition will receive transportation assistance; insalubrity bonuses; hazard pay; for extraordinary and night services; food assistance; pre-school assistance; Christmas bonuses; and cost reimbursement.
The contracts signed with those approved in the competition will be valid for up to four years, with no possibility of extension. However, the vacancies in the Army’s selection process will be valid for two years, with the possibility of a one-time extension for the same period.
Application
Those interested in applying for the intermediate and higher education vacancies in the Army competition may register between July 30 and August 12 on the Department of Engineering and Construction’s website, by filling out the informative fields of the Application Form and submitting it electronically. All candidates in the selection will undergo curriculum analysis.( All information is available in the notice)
When applying for vacancies, candidates must deliver via Sedex or personally submit the supporting documents listed in the application form, in a sealed and labeled envelope.
The final result of the Army selection is expected to be published on October 1st and 2nd. From these dates, the Army Command will begin the process of convocations.
