The Fiat 600e, an Innovative Electric Car from the Italian Automaker, Arrives to Transform the Urban Mobility Scenario. Offering an Impressive Range of Up to 600 km and Exceptional Performance, This Vehicle Positions Itself as a Promising Option That Could Even Be Imported to Brazil.

Fiat returns to the B segment of compact cars with the new Fiat 600e, promising to deliver a greater driving pleasure. The friendly electric car is 4.17m long and has competitive interior space in its category. At least in one aspect, the new Fiat car is better than the 500e: electric range exceeds 400 km in the WLTP combined cycle and more than 600 km in the city.

New Electric Car Fiat 600e Costs R$ 160 Thousand

The new Fiat 600e features state-of-the-art assistance and safety functions, providing all the advantages related to urban and extra-urban mobility thanks to its Level 2 Adas system. The new Fiat car is fully electric and may be a import option for the Brazilian market, however, just to establish a presence, without intentions of competing for the market.

After all, the price of the Fiat 600e is somewhat steep even for its market. In Italy, it costs 35,950 euros, 29,950 euros due to promotions and state incentives, for its entry-level version, and 40,950 euros for the top-of-the-line version.

This translates to R$ 160 thousand in direct conversion for the entry-level version and R$ 218 thousand for the higher version. Its engine delivers 115 kW of power, equivalent to 156 horsepower, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.0 seconds.

The new electric car offers three selectable driving modes: Eco, Sport, and Normal. By mid-next year, the range will be completed with the offer of hybrid engines. Fiat claims that the battery recovers 80% of its charge in 30 minutes when connected to 100 kW fast charging sources. On 10 kW alternating current sources, the battery reaches a full charge in almost six hours.

New Fiat Car Features Unique Design

The retro style of the 600e is based on the previous version, but with a larger body, as if it were a “beefed-up” 500e. Like the hatch, the SUV features rounded lines in the headlights and the shape of the body. The opening in the front grille differentiates it from other electric cars, as most manufacturers opt to completely close off that area.

The silhouette of the electric car also resembles the compact, however, it incorporates a small “shark” antenna and a spoiler, both painted black. At the rear, the “E”-shaped tail lights are similar to those of the hatch. What changes compared to the 500 are the open grille, larger wheels, LED signature, black side skirts, and bumpers.

With a vibe aimed at the young audience, the interior of the new Fiat car is colorful and customizable, allowing the owner to choose up to 64 different color combinations for the cabin and multimedia center. Similar to the interior of the Citroën C3, the color of the dashboard complements the body paint.

Interior of the Fiat 600e is Packed with State-of-the-Art Technology

The dashboard, indeed, features few physical buttons and uses a 10.25” multimedia center compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The instrument panel is also 7 inches digital and fitted inside a round frame. Unlike the interior of the 500e, the center console extends to the dashboard, where the driving mode selection buttons are located.

Though the design is retro, the 600e does not compromise on technology and safety features. It is equipped with adaptive cruise control, blind-spot assistant, rearview camera, parking assistant, 360º sensors, keyless entry, wireless phone charger, and much more.
