Microsoft and LinkedIn’s Free Online Courses Aim to Assist Users in Reskilling and Seeking New Job Opportunities
Microsoft, a giant in software manufacturing and sales, along with LinkedIn, a business social network, has made various free online courses available for education and professional training in Brazil. The Free Online Courses Program
The program was launched in other countries in English, French, Spanish, and German in June and has already benefited around 10 million people. The goal of the joint project is that by March 2021, there will be 25 million people worldwide. The free online courses have an average duration of 10 hours, with individual courses averaging 1 hour, ranging from 18 minutes to over 2 hours.
According to LinkedIn, the most sought-after jobs on the platform in Brazil are Software Engineer, Business Consultant, Java Software Architect, Software Analyst, and Developer. The social network, owned by Microsoft, further added that in addition to the skills demanded in the market, it also includes content for the most sought-after occupations on LinkedIn.
