Registrations for the free professional qualification courses offered by the City Hall of Cubatão in partnership with SENAI have been extended until next Friday, the 27th.

The initiative is coordinated by the Municipal Secretary of Industry, Port, Employment, and Entrepreneurship and integrates actions aimed at strengthening employability and economic development in the municipality.

The available courses are Stock Clerk, with 40 hours, Logistics Operations Assistant, with 60 hours, and Aluminum Frame Assembler, with 80 hours. Classes will be in-person, at night, from 6 PM to 10 PM, and include free certification issued by SENAI.

Deadline and registration location

Residents of Cubatão aged 16 or older with completed elementary education can participate. Registrations must be made in person at the SENAI Cubatão unit, located at Praça da Bíblia, 1, in the city center, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

The City Hall advises interested parties not to leave the procedure until the last minute. The municipal administration emphasizes that the extension increases the opportunity for access to free technical training with nationally recognized certification.

Areas served by the free professional qualification courses

The free professional qualification courses serve areas considered strategic for the economic reality of Cubatão and the Baixada Santista. Logistics and storage operations are linked to the industrial and port sector, expanding the possibilities of entering the job market.

Meanwhile, training in aluminum frame assembly connects to the construction sector. According to the City Hall, this area demands specialized and certified technical labor.

Statement from the City Hall about the extension

According to the secretary of the department, the extension of the deadline reinforces the municipal administration’s commitment to productive inclusion. “The extension of registrations increases the population’s access to courses nationally recognized for the technical quality of SENAI. We are investing in training professionals prepared to meet the real demands of the market and strengthen the local economy through qualification,” he stated.

By directing training to sectors with concrete demand, the municipality seeks to align professional training with the needs of companies located in the city and the region. This measure, according to the administration, contributes to expanding job opportunities and supporting local economic development.
