Recent data reveals that, out of 53,379 electric cars registered between January and September, an impressive 40,183 belong to the Chinese manufacturer, which represents over 70% market share, according to information from CNN Brasil.

Although it is not the cheapest in the segment, the Renault Kwid E-Tech starts at R$ 99,990, the BYD model has won consumers over with build quality, interior comfort, and embedded technology, surpassing rivals in overall satisfaction and performance.

The rise of BYD has also boosted interest in other electric vehicles in the country. Models such as the Volvo EX30 and GWM Ora 03 continue to be among the best sellers, showing that the Brazilian market is starting to mature and diversify its sustainable mobility options.
