Brazilian And American Sign Cooperation Agreement Aiming Business In The Oil And Gas Sector And Cabo Frio Airport Gains Attention For Its Proximity To The Pre-Salt

After the Swiss Swiss multinational Zurich Airport Latin America Acquiring The Macaé Airport In The Auction For The Airport Concession Held By The Brazilian Government, the Americans show they are also eyeing the entry points to the pre-salt oil industry and sign an agreement with Cabo Frio Airport.
The cooperation agreement between Houston Airport and Cabo Frio Airport, in Rio de Janeiro, aims to develop business in the oil and gas sector, prospect new clients, and encourage air traffic between the airports.

The agreement will be signed next Thursday (04/11) at the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP) International Trade Development Committee Meeting in the USA.

Both airports have a prominent position in the oil industry of their countries; Cabo Frio benefits from its proximity to the pre-salt polygon, between the Campos and Santos basins, while Houston is also located in one of the most important hubs of the North American oil industry.

Working Together

In addition to the exchange of knowledge between the airports, the partnership will also create a direct channel between the two airports that will establish joint actions aimed at improving the logistics of the supply chain in the oil and gas industry.

Cabo Frio Airport was the first public airport with private management in Brazil and has been operating since 2001.

Airports play a key role as gateways for international cargo in an industry where the foreign market speaks very loudly even in our country.
